An attempt to list all “known” SSL/TLS cipher suites

by adrian 11. August 2010 17:17

I put up a doc attempting to list all “known” SSL/TLS cipher suites, the respective drafts/RFCs mentioning them and the cipher suites usable under a specific SSL/TLS version according the drafts/RFCs listing them.

Additionally the doc mentions if a cipher suite is FIPS compatible or not.

And apart from the “regular” cipher suites listed, IANA’s Transport Layer Security (TLS) Parameters, section TLS Cipher Suite Registry, mentions some reserved values. Some of these values are already present in the main table. Possible other values can be found in the doc. Also probably some suites numbers were not registered or have been modified, or are quite meaningless as writing.
